Clients with conditonal cards must file a joint petition to remove conditions within 3 months of the expiration date to obtain their permanent green card. Clients that are engaged to be married can petition for their fiancés that live abroad to obtain a K1 fiancé Visa that allows them to enter the USA to be married within 90 days of arrival. Clients may be eligible to apply for naturalization for U.S. citizenship after 5 years of lawful permanent residence (LPR) and early based on marriage after 3 years of LPR living with the same spouse.
